Books by Kezia Kaur

Four books. Four different journeys. One intention — to help you heal, grow, live fully and rise again.

Some books begin with an idea.

Others begin with a life.

For me, these books began with both.

The seeds of several of them were planted many years ago — through my work in wellbeing and personal development, through the people I have met and supported and through the extraordinary, sometimes heartbreaking and often deeply transformative experiences of my own life.

For years, I carried notes, reflections, pieces of wisdom, stories and ideas with me.

Some were scribbled down after a conversation.

Some emerged during difficult chapters.

Some came from watching people find strength they did not know they had.

And some came from lessons I had to learn for myself.

Eventually, those seeds grew into four very different books.

Although they share the same heart, each has its own purpose.

One offers a little wisdom for everyday life.

One encourages us to create a happier and more meaningful life.

One is for the moments when life falls apart and we have to find the courage to rebuild.

And one comes from the most personal journey of all — my family’s experience of disability and additional needs.

Together, they represent much of what I have learned about being human:

We can grow.
We can heal.
We can reinvent ourselves.
We can find meaning again.
And however difficult the road becomes, we can rise.

52 Golden Nuggets

Words of Wisdom for Healing, Positivity & Inspiration

Sometimes all we need is a gentle reminder.

A moment of clarity. A shift in perspective. A single thought that brings us back to ourselves.

52 Golden Nuggets is a collection of short reflections and practical pieces of wisdom created to support you through the many seasons of everyday life.

Each Golden Nugget explores themes such as happiness, gratitude, confidence, anxiety, resilience, purpose, relationships and inner peace.

This book may be for you if you want to:

  • bring more positivity and perspective into everyday life

  • strengthen your resilience and self-belief

  • pause and reconnect with what really matters

  • create a weekly reflection or journalling practice

  • have a little encouragement close at hand when life feels overwhelming

You can read one Golden Nugget each week, open the book intuitively whenever you need guidance or simply return to the reflections that resonate most.

A little companion for everyday life.

Live Your Best Life

A Practical Guide for Happiness, Self-Worth and Living with Purpose

There comes a time when many of us begin asking a different question.

Not simply:

How do I get through life?

But:

How do I really want to live it?

Live Your Best Life is a practical and encouraging guide to self-discovery, emotional wellbeing, confidence, meaningful relationships, healthier habits and creating a life more closely aligned with who you truly are.

It combines heartfelt guidance with practical tools, reflection exercises, journalling prompts and mindfulness practices.

This book may be for you if you are:

  • ready for a new chapter

  • rebuilding confidence or self-worth

  • feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself

  • reconsidering what you want from life

  • navigating midlife or later-life reinvention

  • wanting more purpose, joy and intention in everyday living

This is not about creating a perfect life.

It is about becoming more present in the life you already have and having the courage to change what no longer fits.

Your best chapter may still be ahead of you.

Rise Again

Hope & Support for Individuals & Families Living With Disability and Special Needs

This is the most personal of my four books.

Rise Again grew from my family’s journey following my younger son Nicholas’s diagnosis of cerebral palsy when he was fourteen months old and everything that followed over more than three decades.

Hospital corridors.

Therapies.

Education.

Questions about independence and belonging.

The impact on siblings and family.

Fear for the future.

Moments of grief.

And also extraordinary love, courage, humour, determination and hope.

I wanted to write the book I wish someone had placed in my hands all those years ago.

Not a clinical manual.

Not a promise that everything will be easy.

But a compassionate voice saying:

You are not alone.

Rise Again was written for:

  • individuals living with disability or additional needs

  • parents

  • siblings

  • grandparents

  • carers

  • extended family

  • teachers and educators

  • anyone supporting a family navigating disability

Through lived experience, reflection, encouragement and practical support, the book explores grief and acceptance, family relationships, resilience, representation, belonging, independence and hope for the future.

Disability may change the path.

It does not diminish the person travelling it.

No matter how steep the mountain feels, you can rise again.

Rise Stronger

When Life Falls Apart, Discover the Strength to Heal and Begin Again

There are chapters of life we choose.

And then there are chapters that choose us.

Loss. Betrayal. Change. Fear. Disappointment. Heartbreak. Starting over.

Rise Stronger was written for those moments.

It is about what happens after life doesn’t go according to plan and how we begin rebuilding ourselves — sometimes slowly, sometimes imperfectly, but nevertheless moving forward.

Through reflection, practical tools, personal insight and gentle guidance, the book explores resilience, healing, acceptance, mindset, confidence and finding strength after difficult experiences.

This book may be for you if you are:

  • recovering from a major setback

  • experiencing loss or significant life change

  • rebuilding your confidence

  • trying to rediscover yourself

  • learning to let go of what cannot be changed

  • searching for hope after a difficult chapter

You do not have to return to who you were before.

Sometimes adversity asks us to become someone new.

You can rise again — and you can rise stronger.

About the Author

For more than three decades, Kezia Kaur has worked across wellbeing, retreats, hospitality, personal development and meditation.

Her writing draws not only on professional experience but also on lived experience — the unexpected changes, losses, reinventions and lessons that shape a life.

Her books are written to help readers feel less alone, find practical wisdom and remember that new chapters are possible at any age.

A personal note from Kezia

These books were not written all at once.

Some of their beginnings go back decades.

There were ideas I carried before I ever imagined becoming an author.

Lessons from my work.

Lessons from motherhood.

Lessons from creating wellbeing spaces.

Lessons from relationships.

Lessons from losing things I thought would always be mine.

Lessons from beginning again.

And perhaps most importantly, lessons from discovering that life rarely follows the map we create for it.

For a long time, these thoughts lived in notebooks, conversations, programmes, retreats and in my own heart.

Writing them into books has allowed me to place those experiences into someone else’s hands.

My hope is not that every page speaks to every person.

My hope is that somewhere, perhaps on exactly the day you need it, one sentence does.

If one reflection helps someone feel less alone, one exercise gives someone clarity or one story reminds a family that there is still hope, then these books have done what I hoped they would do.

With blessings, love and gratitude,

Kezia  🙏❤️
